La Salle 79, St. Genevieve 52--Ryan Garcia rushed for 371 yards and six touchdowns and threw for 86 yards and three touchdowns for the Lancers (7-3, 6-1) at Birmingham.
The teams combined for 58 fourth-quarter points, including 32 by St. Genevieve.
Three players rushed for more than 100 yards for the Valiants (3-7, 2-5). Clifford Rivera led the way with 248 yards and three touchdowns in 26 carries. Levon White added 168 yards and two touchdowns and Danny Buhler gained 119 yards in 13 carries.
St. Genevieve’s Gary Yamashita completed 11 of 23 passes for 134 yards. Manuel Acosta caught four passes for 75 yards and Casey Iazzino had five receptions for 44 yards.
Rivera scored on runs of one, 14 and 20 yards. White added scoring runs of nine and 28 yards for the Valiants, who trailed, 34-6, at halftime.
