Antoinette Thompson

Basketball
Thompson, from Inglewood Morningside High, is one of several talented players at Rancho Santiago playing under first-year Coach Jack Single, who led Saddleback to the state championship game last season. Thompson set a Rancho Santiago single-game record with 29 rebounds and also had 21 points in an 83-40 victory over host West Los Angeles. She is averaging 20 rebounds and 17 points for the Dons (5-0).

Linda Rodriguez
Cypress, sophomore
She averaged 20 points as Cypress won two of three games in the Merced tournament.
