Titans Receive Four Women’s Volleyball Commitments

Cal State Fullerton women’s volleyball Coach Mary Ellen Murchison has commitments from four high school seniors. They are Carolyn Kittell of Laguna Beach, Katie Crawford of El Segundo High, Beatrice Holcombe of Atwater High, which is in the Fresno area, and Michelle Halliday, who has played the last two years for Fullerton College.
Kittell, a setter who led the Artists to the 1996 Southern Section championship, was the section’s co-player of the year.
The Titans had their best season with a 16-13 record in 1996, and Murchison recently signed a three-year contract as coach.
