Sewer Expansion to Slow Magnolia Traffic
Construction at the intersection of Trask Avenue and Magnolia Street is expected to continue for an additional six weeks with the start of a sewer expansion project.
The expansion, a joint project between the city and the Sanitation Districts of Orange County, involves the installation of a 48-inch-diameter sewer trunk line and is expected to help meet the city’s growing water demands.
The project requires traffic to be reduced to a single lane in all four directions, and left turns won’t be permitted. Through traffic is encouraged to use alternate routes. Businesses will remain open during the construction. Information: (714) 741-5179.
