Scholarship Golf Tournament Monday

The 18th Mayor’s Scholarship Golf Tournament will be Monday at Alta Vista Country Club. The annual event raises money to provide scholarships to local high school seniors.
The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by an awards luncheon. The $100 entry fee includes green fees, luncheon, awards and a donation to the scholarship fund. Tickets for the luncheon only are available at $20 each.
Donations from businesses, organizations and individuals who do not wish to participate in the tournament are also welcome.
Since 1980, scholarships totaling more than $45,000 have been awarded to Placentia-area high school graduates.
