Moore pitched two no-hitters, including a perfect game, last week. Thursday, Moore struck out 14 of the 18 hitters she faced in a mercy-rule shortened perfect game. Friday’s 1-0 no-hit victory came against Bolsa Grande’s Mary Petrie, the league MVP last season. Moore also had four hits, including a home run, and four RBIs.

* Marina, junior. Pitched a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts in 4-0 victory against Huntington Beach and beat Fountain Valley.
Leslie Hoyler/Track and Field/Shotput
* Whittier Christian, junior. Won her second consecutive Carpinteria Invitational title with a distance of 38 feet 3 1/2 inches.
Veronica Lopez/Softball/Pitcher
* Canyon, senior. Returned from a knee injury this week and pitched two shutouts and hit a grand slam in 6-0 victory over Villa Park.
