Consortium Seeks to Expand Mexican System

A consortium led by Pacific Enterprises International and Enova International submitted a bid to the Mexican Energy Regulatory Commission to expand an existing natural gas distribution system in Toluca and surrounding cities. Mexican partners include Proxima Gas and Corporativo San Angel. The Toluca geographic zone is an industrial center about 40 miles west of Mexico City. The new system would include a 78-mile transmission line and an expanded Toluca distribution system to serve at least 40,000 additional customers. The winning bid will be announced on July 9.
