Miami Upsets Alabama

OMAHA — Miami remained the only undefeated team Monday in Bracket 2 of the College World Series, upsetting top-seeded Alabama, 6-1.
Mandy Jacomino went four for four for the Hurricanes and hit a three-run homer off Alabama’s Pete Fisher (9-3) to highlight a four-run fourth inning.
Miami starter Darin Spassoff (9-5) was lifted in the sixth with two on and two outs. Reliever Eddy Reyes allowed a run, but ended the threat.
