Leadership Group’s Graduation Dinner Set

Leadership Anaheim’s first graduation banquet Thursday will recognize the 16 participants in the program’s charter class.

Among the graduates are small-business owners, corporate executives, community leaders, educators, the president of a homeowners group and a professional football scout.

Leadership Anaheim is an independent community-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to prepare emerging civic leaders in Anaheim to take active decision-making roles in the affairs of the city.

The banquet at the Foxfire Restaurant, 5717 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road, is open to the public. Cost is $35 a person and includes dinner.

The speaker will be John Seymour, former U.S. senator from California and former Anaheim mayor.

Leadership Anaheim is now accepting applications for its next program, to start in August.
