City Hires Consultant to Seek Site for Well
- Share via
The city is searching this month for a location to install a well to tap into cheaper ground-water supplies.
The City Council recently hired a hydrogeologic consultant to find a site for the $307,950 project. In February, another consultant will design the project, and construction is expected to begin in May, said Amy Amirani, public works director.
The city’s current well on Briarwood Lane is unable to draw ground water unless there is abundant rainfall.
