From Times Wire Reports
Workers trapped in a burning office tower of the nation’s central bank yelled for help and waved red cloths as flames gutted the building’s top three floors, killing at least 14 people. Faulty electrical wiring may have caused the fire in the new, 25-story Bank Indonesia building in central Jakarta, a fire official said. Some of the victims died of smoke inhalation; others were badly burned. About 200 people were evacuated down stairs, and a police helicopter rescued four people from the roof.
