Injured Ayuso Questionable

Shooting guard Elias Ayuso sprained his right shoulder Saturday while lifting weights and is questionable for USC’s game against Ohio State on Dec. 20, athletic department officials said Monday.
Coupled with the loss of forward Jarvis Turner, who broke a bone in his left hand against UNLV last week and is expected to be sidelined four to six weeks, the Trojans are down a solid perimeter shooter and a reliable scorer in the block.
Ayuso was making 32% of his three-point shots and averaging 10.5 points a game. Turner averaged 13.2 points and 4.0 rebounds.
Senior Ken Sims and freshman Jeff Trepagnier probably will replace Ayuso at shooting guard and two other freshmen, Greg Lakey and Shannon Swillis, probably will rotate between power forward and center.
Bibby also may go to a three- and four-guard offense.
The Trojans did receive some good news. Senior forward Anthony White, who broke a bone in his left foot in October and missed the preseason, is expected to return sooner than expected, sometime in early January.
