Imax 3-D Theater Set for Exposition Park

Los Angeles’ first Imax Theater with 3-D capability will open as part of the new California Science Center in Exposition Park on Feb. 6 with two new films: “Into the Deep” in 3-D, a journey into a kelp forest, and “Mission to Mir” in 2-D, a visit to the space station occupied by international teams of scientists since 1986.
The new structure is seven stories tall.
