A Municipal Court judge delayed sentencing Tuesday for a 19-year-old Ventura man who admitted killing a woman in a hit-and-run accident in October.
Christopher Ringgold will undergo a 90-day evaluation to determine the most appropriate form of incarceration, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Michelle Contois. Another sentencing date will be set after the 90 days.
Ringgold pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter in the killing of Leslie Dawn Talley, 50, of Ventura. Talley was struck as she was crossing Thompson Boulevard near Ash Street on Oct. 16.
