Council Undecided on City Manager
City Council members met in closed session Tuesday to talk about the three finalists for city manager, but said they have not made their choice.
“It’s still up in the air,” Mayor Manuel Lopez said.
Last week, council members interviewed three candidates. Officials had narrowed the original list of 33 applicants with the help of an executive search firm.
City officials last week confirmed that one of the three finalists is Richard Ramirez, the interim public works director in Modesto.
They did not name the other two candidates. Council members are set to discuss the issue again Jan. 6.
