GLAAD Media Awards to Focus on Theater

The ninth annual GLAAD Media Awards presents an exploration of AIDS, right-to-die issues and other themes present in last year’s Los Angeles theater season Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Hudson Avenue Theatre in Hollywood.
The event will feature guest speaker David Roman, author of “Acts of Intervention: Performance, Gay Culture and AIDS,” and a guest panel of Los Angeles theater critics. Admission is free. Information: (213) 658-6775, Ext. 32.
