El Camino Real 32, Granada Hills 12--Quincy Wright rushed for 294 yards and three touchdowns in 23 carries at El Camino Real to help the Conquistadores snap a two-game losing streak and keep their playoff hopes alive.
El Camino Real (6-3, 3-3) will be without linebacker Alex Perez for next week’s game against Taft. Perez and Peter Gunny of Granada Hills were ejected in the third quarter for unsportsmanlike conduct and fighting, respectively, and will have to sit out the season finale.
Wright scored on runs of 88, 19 and eight yards. Wright’s 45-yard run in the second quarter set up El Camino Real’s go-ahead score, a four-yard touchdown run by De Angelo Nedd to make it 12-6.
