In other Foothill League games:
Valencia 35, Saugus 28--Sean Stoddard rushed for 230 yards in 33 carries and scored four touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough for the Centurions at College of the Canyons.
Stoddard had three one-yard touchdowns and also scored from the five, scoring twice in the fourth quarter to bring Saugus (2-7, 1-3) close after the Vikings led, 35-14, with under eight minutes remaining.
Valencia (7-2, 3-1) scored twice on its first three plays. Quarterback Brian Hamilton (13 carries, 148 yards) scored on a 69-yard run on the Vikings’ second play and added scoring runs of 19 and 30 yards in the second half.
Hamilton connected with Mike Swanson, who had five catches for 99 yards, on a 30-yard touchdown pass play on Valencia’s third play.
Manuel White rushed for 138 yards in 21 carries for Valencia.
