Bicyclist Injured; Driver Who Struck Her Jailed

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — A 7-year-old bicyclist suffered a fractured skull when she swerved into the path of a driver and was struck, Fountain Valley police said.
The girl was on the Bushard Street overpass at the San Diego Freeway about 6 p.m. Sunday when she rode in front of a car, police said.
The driver, Elida Orduno Rivera, 42, of Tustin, was booked on suspicion of drunk driving, police said. Her bail was set at $10,000.
