New Curriculum Coordinator Picked

The city’s school board has appointed Pat Ahern, principal of Country Hills Elementary School, to the position of curriculum coordinator.
She succeeds Linda MacDonnell, who left to accept a position in the County Department of Education.
Ahern joined the Brea Olinda Unified School District in 1970 as a high school English teacher. She has been principal at Country Hills since 1993.
