Santa Margarita Routed in Millikan Finals, 11-2

Seventh-ranked Santa Margarita was defeated, 11-2, by North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake in the finals of the Long Beach Millikan water polo tournament.
Harvard-Westlake is ranked third in Division I; Santa Margarita is ninth.
In the semifinals, Chris Ansevin scored the winning goal in overtime as Santa Margarita defeated Manhattan Beach Mira Costa, 8-7.
Ansevin finished with six goals.
Tyler Wilson scored the tying goal for the Eagles (4-1) with 1:09 left in the fourth quarter. Santa Margarita trailed, 6-4, at the beginning of the quarter.
In other Millikan tournament games:
Estancia 12, Edison 11--Brad Wayman scored eight goals in a consolation victory for Estancia (4-3). Goalkeeper Bryan DeWilde had 15 saves for the Eagles.
