Cal Lutheran Offers 2 Diversity Programs
Cal Lutheran University’s Multicultural and International Programs office is planning two programs to help students examine race relations on and off campus as well as their roles as campus leaders.
The STAR (Students Talk About Race) program recruits and trains student volunteers to lead open discussions on race relations with area middle and high school students.
Student leaders of ethnic clubs and the campus government will have the opportunity to attend a retreat at Lake Piru from Friday through Sunday. Participants will examine their roles as leaders and discuss the issues they face in the context of the Cal Lutheran community.
