In a new partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, the City Council has approved a $200,000 contract for expanded business services from the group.
“A strong business community is essential to having a great community,” said Susan Klaren, chamber executive vice president.
Under the three-year contract, the chamber will offer a range of services, including working with the Private Industry Council on job training and employment recruitment and providing information to businesses on proposed redevelopment efforts.
The chamber will continue initiatives with the Anaheim-Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau, and will develop an outreach program for small- and minority-owned businesses.
