Quadruplets Born to Surrogate Mother

Quadruplets were born Thursday to a surrogate mother at Long Beach Community Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The quadruplets were in the neonatal intensive care unit. The names of the surrogate mother and the biological parents were not released to protect their privacy, said spokeswoman Rachelle Cunningham.
Hospital officials would not release the babies’ condition or say how much they weighed.
