“Making Networking Great in ‘98,” a Ventura Chamber of Commerce breakfast, will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday at the Four Points Ventura Harbortown Hotel, 1050 Schooner Drive. It will be sponsored by Country Inn at Ventura.

* “Taste Faire” by the National Assn. of Women in Construction will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 9 at 11974 Pradera Road, Camarillo. The event will offer tastes of recipes included in the association’s cookbook.
