Crime Awareness Fair Slated at Civic Center

An open house and crime awareness fair will be held at the Civic Center Mall on Saturday.
The event, sponsored by the Mid-Valley Community Police Council, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fair will display various specialized units within the Los Angeles Police Department, including members of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team, the Community Effort to Combat Auto Theft, the Bomb Squad and a mobile crime lab.
