Lego, Disney to Team Up for Pooh Toys

Denmark’s Lego AS, building an empire from tiny plastic blocks, is teaming with Walt Disney Co. to make toys based on the Disney-controlled Winnie the Pooh characters. They’re due out in June, and toys based on other Disney characters may appear later.
Don’t expect to see Mickey, Donald, Pooh and Eeyore wandering through Lego’s soon-to-open Legoland amusement park in Carlsbad, however. “This is purely a toy-related partnership,” says John Singh of Disney Consumer Products in Burbank.
