In partnership with the Buena Park, Cypress, Los Alamitos and Seal Beach police departments, the La Palma department will operate a DUI checkpoint in Cypress from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday. The checkpoint is a component of the DUI enforcement strategy being implemented this month as part of National Drug and Drugged Driving (3D) Prevention Month.
