The Sacred Storytellers Network will present a rare reenactment of the epics of the Divine King Gilgamesh and the Goddess Inanna, two of the world’s oldest recorded sacred stories, at the Bowers Museum of Cultural Art, 2002 N. Main St., Santa Ana, at 2 p.m. today.
Written on cuneiform tablets in Sumer about 3000 BC, the stories underlie the foundations of Western religions, said Brother Michael Wing, one of the storytellers. Tickets are $20. Call (714) 567-3695.
