What Did You Eat For Dinner Last Night?

“You know, if you’d asked where I had lunch, I’d be able to say a Bangladesh restaurant. I had the flu last night, so I called out and got takeout from Louise’s on Larchmont. I know all the delivery people there, and when I call, they recognize my voice and already know what I want. I always have the same thing--chicken Parmesan, lemonade and a chocolate chip cookie. I’m trying to eat less red meat, and the chicken Parmesan comes with a pasta I like. I have the cookie because I’ve got to have something sweet, but the chocolate layer cake is so big and rich I can’t handle it.”
