Onyx Acceptance Corp., the 4-year-old automobile financing company, is moving its headquarters and 350 employees from the Irvine Spectrum into an 82,000-square-foot office complex at Foothill Ranch. The fast-growing company plans to add about 150 employees over the next year and the new facility, which nearly doubles its existing space, gives it room to grow, said Chief Executive Officer John Hall.

Prolong International Inc., maker of the Prolong line of automotive, industrial and consumer oils and lubricants, has moved from Anaheim to the Irvine Spectrum. The company’s new, 30,000-square-foot headquarters and research and development facility houses 40 employees, but that figure is expected to increase over the next few years, said Chief Financial Officer Nicholas Rosier. The company had occupied a 10,000-square-foot facility in Anaheim. It needed the additional space to accommodate increasing demand for its products, said President Elton Alderman.
