Stabbing Victim in Serious Condition

OXNARD — An Oxnard man who was stabbed twice in the upper body was listed in serious, but stable, condition Tuesday at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
Efren Martinez, 19, was found in the 200 block of Hill Street about 8:30 p.m. Monday, bleeding from two wounds.
Martinez told investigators he was walking along the street when two men jumped out of a car and attacked him.
Police said the incident is under investigation.
