Pimco Now Managing $223 Billion in Assets

Pimco Advisors Holdings L.P. said managed assets for the Pimco group of companies rose to $223 billion in the second quarter, compared with $200 billion at year-end 1997.
In a press release Wednesday, the company said managed assets have grown nearly 12% with $9 billion in net cash flowing in since Jan. 1.
The Newport Beach-based investment management firm also said it is on track to reach its goal of 15% annual asset growth.
