Coto de Caza’s Dunn Tied for 1st

Jimmy Dunn of Coto de Caza shot 71 Wednesday for a two-day total of 140 to share the lead at the Nabisco Mission Hills Desert Junior golf tournament at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.
Dunn, a Santa Margarita graduate now at Loyola Marymount, is in a three-way tie for the lead.
Ronald Won of Irvine shot 73 and is one stroke back at 141.
In the girls’ division, Angela Rho of Fullerton has a two-stroke lead after shooting 75-68 for 36 holes. Candie Kung of Fountain Valley is three back at 146, tied for third.

Young Nam of Fullerton shot three-under-par 69 in the second round of the California State Open in Indio.
His two-day total of 133 is one stroke behind three Arizona players. Joon Lee of Fullerton shot 71 and is five back of the leaders.
