Re “Netanyahu Does It Again,” editorial, June 23:
Any questions I might have had regarding the impartiality of The Times have vanished with its fantastic screed against the expansion of the Jerusalem municipality. The neighborhoods to be annexed are Jewish areas behind the “green line,” Israel’s pre-1967 boundaries. The only persons who have any right to complain are the residents of these neighborhoods who may see their taxes go up. Jerusalem is the capital city of the sovereign state of Israel. The only ones who still dispute that are the Arabs who long to see Israel and the Jews pushed into the sea, the United Nations leadership and now apparently The Times.

Your editorial is a breath of fresh air in America’s Israel-leaning news media.
I hope your honesty in evaluating Arab-Israeli issues continues--even after Labor comes back into power.
