Sierra Madre Maranatha 1, Ontario Christian 0--Jennifer Bird scored an unassisted goal in the second half in a Southern Section Division IV semifinal at Arcadia.
Maranatha plays St. Bonaventure, a 3-1 winner over Lancaster Paraclete, for the title.
San Pedro 5, Hamilton 0--Bridget Baroncini, Megan O’Donnell, Laura Soto, Laura Pomella, and Lindsay Dragich scored for the Pirates in a City Section 4-A semifinal at San Pedro.
San Pedro plays Chatsworth, a 2-0 winner over Granada Hills, for the title.
Westchester 2, Kennedy 1--Westchester advanced to the City Section 3-A championship game when a header bounced off a Kennedy player into the goal for the winning score.
Garfield 1, Manual Arts 0--Striker Maria Turcios scored a goal on a header five minutes into overtime to give the Bulldogs the victory in a City 3-A semifinal.
BOYS
Cathedral City 2, Sonora 1--Chris Young scored with two minutes left in overtime to advance Cathedral City to the Southern Section Division III championship game.
