When an obituary makes you laugh out loud, you know it must be about someone special. Henny Youngman’s obituary (Feb. 25) did just that! It was a treat to read about this remarkable man’s background and long career, and to laugh once again at his one-liners. Spreading joy for so many years has to be some kind of record, and wherever he is now I’m sure he is setting another record--making the angels laugh.

In the obituary for Youngman, he made me laugh again (“Hello, Irving!”). He always made me laugh, and made us laugh at ourselves, without sleaze, slurs or profanity--obviously, a comedian from another age. Take today’s pathetic crop . . . please!
