Rummage Sale to Raise Funds for Scholarship

A rummage sale will be held today to raise scholarship money for college-bound Latino students.
Hosted by the Placentia League of United Latin American Citizens, the event will take place from 7 a.m. to noon at the Edwin T. Powell Building, 143 S. Bradford Ave.
The group also helps support a scholarship program offered through the state LULAC, which awards scholarships to students across California. Information: Cory Anthony Aguirre, Placentia LULAC president, (714) 773-0992.
