Two Brothers Accused of Fatally Beating Boy, 5

CHICAGO — Two brothers, ages 9 and 14, are accused of beating to death a 5-year-old foster child who had been put in their home to protect him from abuse.
The brothers were charged with murder in last week’s death of David Jones.
The 9-year-old told investigators that he and his brother attacked David with their hands and a belt after David threw a toy at him and vomited on the 14-year-old, prosecutor Kimellen Chamberlain said.
