Regarding the Feb. 15 letter (“History at Sea”) that invited readers to visit the S.S. Lane Victory in San Pedro at Berth 94: This is a fine museum and a historic vessel. However, while in San Pedro, one should not miss the Los Angeles Maritime Museum (tel. [310] 548-7618) at Berth 84 to complete a rewarding day visiting the past.
