Meghan Coolbaugh
Golden West, Sophomore
Volleyball
Coolbaugh, a middle blocker from El Modena High, came to Golden West this season after playing at Radford University last year. She has helped the Rustlers earn the top-ranking in the state with her solid play. He had 21 kills and nine blocks as the Rustlers swept past Irvine Valley and Orange Coast. She also added nine blocks in the two matches.
Water Polo
Duffi Finnegan
* Orange Coast, freshman. Made nine saves in the Orange Empire Conference title game as OCC beat Riverside, 10-3.
Frankie Salazar
Fullerton, Sophomore
Football
Salazar, a defensive back from West Covina South Hills High, intercepted two passes in three games last season. He got his first double-interception game this season Saturday as the Hornets beat Saddleback, 58-52, in triple overtime. He returned his first interception 17 yards for a touchdown and his second came in the third overtime.
Soccer
Chris Latini
* Irvine Valley, freshman. Scored three goals as the Lasers beat Fullerton, 6-2, to earn a playoff spot.
