* Two points warrant comment in “2 More Candidates Join Campaign to Unseat Alatorre” (Nov. 17). First, you report that I am “backing” Deputy Dist. Atty. Nick Pacheco in his bid for the 14th District L.A. City Council seat; I have taken no position in that race. Second, Councilman Richard Alatorre and I have always worked well together; it is an error to characterize us as “most bitter political foes” and allow this to damage a good working relationship.
