Guerneville Visitors

The juxtaposition of the pictures of the gay party-goers living it up and the heterosexual family members spending time together (“Differing Visions of Future Pose Challenge for Guerneville,” Sept. 7) is blatant stereotyping unworthy of a distinguished newspaper. Why these images and not photos of a gay family spending time together next to a group of heterosexual party-goers living it up?
Gay people and families are not, and have never been, mutually exclusive. Gay people form families and families include gay people.
