Leads Sought After Man Is Shot, Run Over

LONG BEACH — Police are asking for help in tracking down whoever shot a Hawthorne man several times and drove over him with a car.
Shountel Faure, 24, was found wounded at 11 p.m. Thursday, in the 500 block of East 19th Street, police said.
Faure was transported to a local hospital and placed in intensive care, but died Friday, police said.
Police said Monday that they had no suspects in the killing. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call the Long Beach police and speak with Dets. Steve Jones or Steve Smith at (562) 570-7244.
