Undrafted but Not Unnoticed

The Clippers may have found a swingman for years to come in free-agent rookie Tyrone Nesby.
Nesby, who went undrafted last year out of Nevada Las Vegas, has been a bright spot for the Clippers this season. After arriving at training camp as a longshot to make the team, Nesby has started 18 of 32 games. Over his last eight, he has averaged just under 13 points while shooting 53%.
“The kid just continues to shine. It’s a pleasure to be around him every day to see how hard he plays the game,” Coach Chris Ford said of Nesby.

Power forward Maurice Taylor might play tonight against Phoenix after sitting out Sunday’s loss to Denver because of tight Achilles’ tendons. Taylor is listed as probable.
