Free Tests Offered at Saturday Health Fair

The second annual Van Nuys Health and Safety Fair on Saturday at Children’s Community School will offer free blood-pressure screening, AIDS testing, spinal screening, mammograms and TB testing.
Children’s immunizations for hepatitis B, tetanus, mumps, measles, rubella, diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus also will be given.
Children’s Community School will sponsor the fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school, 14702 Sylvan St.
Kaiser Permanente and Healthy Families will present information on low-cost and free health plans for uninsured children.
There also will be music, entertainment and food.
