Dead Baby Found Inside Dumpster

NORTH HOLLYWOOD — A transient looking for trash discovered the body of an infant in a dumpster Sunday morning, authorities said.
The unidentified baby girl was found shortly after 9 a.m. in the 12000 block of Kittridge Street near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Officer Don Cox said.
The cause of death was not immediately known, Cox said.
Authorities were not sure how long the baby had been in the dumpster.
Los Angeles County coroner’s investigators will try to determine the cause of death.
