Fountain Valley School District trustees have adopted the Guided Language Acquisition Design program as the district’s instructional program for English language learners. The program was designed in the early 1980s to promote English learning, academic achievement and cross-cultural skills. The program has been established throughout the country as an exemplary training model for teachers of English language learners.
