Fountain Valley School District trustees are reviewing information on a proposed revision of guidelines on identifying gang-related attire. The amendment states that inappropriate school attire includes frayed cuffs, baggy or oversized clothing capable of concealing a weapon, and oversized pants that measure 6 or more inches from the leg to the outer seam or touch the ground. The board will vote on the revision Feb. 11.
