‘None of the Above’

Re “Initiative Would Put ‘None of Above’ on Ballot,” Feb. 1: Political scientist Gary Jacobson missed the point. With “none of the above” on the ballot, the voter has the opportunity to have his/her protest recorded, counted and published. Hopefully this opportunity will draw more voters to the polls.
GOP consultant Ray McNally not only missed the point, but also engaged in typical political party animal rhetoric when there is no good argument, by suggesting that I “get a life.” Perhaps he doesn’t know all the things I’m involved in, or is not clear on the concept.
